Theerakun Niyom is currently the Chairman of the Board of Advisors to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Thailand. As a distinguished career diplomat, Theerakun served as the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs and as Thailand’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Norway and the People’s Republic of China. Theerakun received his bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Thammasart University and an M.A. in International Relations from Western Virginia University.
